Bird Strike - Information

Bird Strike was a shoot 'em up but with a musical element!

The planes dived down from above the cloud cover, and if the player could shoot the wings with their gun, then the planes released a carrier pigeon. Shoot the pigeon and a note was added to the musical stave shown at the top of the screen.

The planes would be dive bombing the player whilst all of this was going on, and they would fly down the screen and home in on the player, trying to blow them up. Only a central hit from the player's gun would be enough to destroy each plane.

The player could only complete a level when the tune was finished, so shooting all of the planes down as quickly as possible wasn't the best strategy.
