Details

The original painting used on the box was painted by the game's co-designer by Herman Serrano. Also note that the artwork wrapped around the sides of the box, rather than showing the more traditional blue Rainbird packaging.

If you look at the screenshots on the back of the box, you will notice that the 'infinite lives' cheat mode is activated (replacing the usual small pyjama-clad figures indicating the number of lives remaining). There's also a clue that you need to capture the football during the game, as you can see it in the upper panel on one of the screenshots.

The original Weird Dreams advert published in the UK was a teaser advert from Telecomsoft. The second advert was published after the sale to MicroProse (UK) Ltd.
